Happy New Year 2022 Cord Cutting Ritual

Happy New Year Cacao Pods.

I wish you all the luck, success, joy and fullness in 2022.

I'd like to share with you a little cord cutting ritual I like to do in the 1st week of the new year.

It helps to ground me and focus my energy.

I light some incense, I ask my guides to protect me and light a candle visualising a sacred white light surrounding me, where only good intentions and peaceful energies may come through.

You may choose to actually have some cord and scissors to cut it with or to just energetically visualise a magical golden pair of scissors cutting long golden cords, what ever colour you choose is fine, its the visualising that matters most.

Make some sacred cacao (There are a few recipes in this post for you to get some inspiration) with your intentions of retrieving all your soul parts back and ask mama cacao to help you remove all the tendrils from your para spirit. (the entirety of your aura your energy field, a term used by I am Anna Wood to describe our energy fields.)

Then I say out loud.

I release, let go & cut all etheric cords that are no longer serving my highest purpose with love.

Any cords attached, that are not aligned with love & harmony, be severed, (this is where you cut the cord) demolished & destroyed, never to return.

All of my energy returns to me, filling me with vitality & peace.

Then I take 3 big deep breaths and imagine my feet or base chakra growing roots down deep into the earth connecting with her, and the energy coming out from my crown chakra or top of my head going up into the universe and connecting with her.

Once I have connected to the earth and universe like this. I ask the spirit of cacao and my guides to bless me and call my energy back. I drink my cacao and sit and meditate for approx. 10-20 min.

To close my space I thank my guides the universe, earth and mama cacao. Blow out the candle take 3 deep breaths and say, the circle is closed.

This is such a simple ritual, but so so powerful. You need not have anything but your self for this, just you and your own power of visualisation. I use minimal tools to help me amplify my intentions and to connect.

Being in nature is also a wonderful space to hold this ritual.

It is my hope that you find peace in this ritual and clear and retrieve your energy for the new year of 2022 the year of 6 2 + 0 + 2 + 2 = 6 Harmony.
